In addition to the regular classes, Theresa is available for semi-private and private Yoga sessions.
Private sessions are a great way to begin a yoga practice or to deepen an existing practice. A private session is a one on one session with the instructor and a client. A semi-private session usually consistes of a small group of friends that are interested in practicing yoga together with the benefit of being able to ask questions and be more closely monitored as they are guided through the practice.
A private or semi-private session is designed for a deeper exploration of the yoga practice, in a setting conducive to receiving hands on assistance and personal feedback. Sessions provide clients with the opportunity to address specific limitations of strength and range of movement, as well as personal goals by designing a custom yoga practice suited to their individual needs and desires. Clients will be shown how to use props or modify postures to meet their needs and help to prevent injury. In addition posture sequences are tailored to the clients personal goals.
During the first session clients are welcome to bring up questions, concerns, and goals. Current fitness level will be determined during the first practice and then a customized practice can be created. Clients can then meet regularly to be guided through their practice or periodic appointments can be scheduled to monitor progress, ask questions, or make adjustments to the practice.
